Daihatsu

A company producing internal combustion engines originally referred to as the «Hatsudoki Seizo Co. Ltd » was opened in 1907.

They began the production of compact three-wheeled vehicles in 1930. In 1951, the company name was changed to «Daihatsu Motor Co. Ltd. » and it remained unchanged till today.

In 1997 the company celebrated 90 years, and the number of cars made over the years reached 10 million.

Today Daihatsu (which is part of Toyota) - a company with nearly a century of history, the philosophy of which is the corporate slogan: «We make it Compact». In a rapidly increasing automobile market “compact” is the key word, according to Daihatsu.
