Holden

Australian company that produces cars. Since 1926 «GM Holden Ltd» is part of the «General Motors Australia» group with the headquartered in Melbourne.

The history of the company started in 1856 with the opening of James Alexander Holden of a factory in Adelaide for crew manufacturing named «JA Holden & Co». In 1918 the company became a body making factory «Holden & Frost» (HMBB).

Production of cars badged Holden began in 1931 with the uniting of «GMA» and «HMBB2» into «General Motors-Holden's».
