Chevrolet officially named the new compact crossover, which will be shown this year at the end of September at the Paris Motor Show. This model is called Tracker - this name was already used by Chevrolet, but it have designated for more larger SUVs.
At the heart of Chevrolet Tracker will be a platform from already presented in March Opel Mokka. Rather, from a technical point of view, Tracker will not differ from the Mokka. And that means, that car will have a length of 4280 mm (it will be larger than Corsa hatchback on 280 mm, but shorter than Astra on 140 mm). And most importantly, the new model will be larger than the Nissan Juke on 145 mm. Under the hood of Chevrolet Tracker are hiding 1.7 liter petrol engine (130 hp and 300 N∙m), also we will see petrol engines of 1.6-liters (115 hp), 1.4-liter supercharged engine (140 hp) and 1.8-liter naturally aspirated engine (too 140 hp).
It is expected, that the sales of Chevrolet Tracker will start in early 2013. Moreover, Chevrolet promises a very interesting price.
