Subaru

The first Subaru car was made in 1958 and carried the name of Minicar 360. The car has not met a warm reception by the consumers. However, in 1966, Subaru introduced Japan's first front-wheel drive vehicle - and it was a breakthrough. Six years later there was made Subaru Leone 1400 with the rear axle connection operated from the driver’s seat. All wheel-drive of Subaru remains a highlight of the company and is highly valued by experts.

Now the Subaru company is a member of the American automotive corporation of GM.
